Kiwanis Club kicks off holiday bell ringing campaign

ASHEVILLE – On Friday the Kiwanis Club of Asheville will ring the bells and kick off Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Christmas Appeal for Buncombe County.

On Nov. 7 at noon a brass ensemble will play holiday music at the K-Mart in West Asheville, 1001 Patton Ave., to mark the beginning of the campaign.

The ringing of the bells will continue every day except for Sunday until Christmas Eve.
